Shackles

Well I was watching Spike TV today extreme 4x4. And they put some Shackles on it? Did anyone see this eppisode? If so do you know what brand they where. Im wanting to find a pair to put on my truck.(91 F250)

Was it a shackle reversal kit or a shackle flip kit?

No it wasn't a flip or reversal. It was for articulation. They were made by TERAFLEX, I don't know if they have a website or not, but that was the company on the shackles.

Yeah those things aren't any good for anything heavier than a jeep, if you can weld make yourself a set of longer ones like these ones i've made forr my 81 mud bogger:

Shackle flips like those offered by SKYManufacturing do allow more articulation. But are obviously unneccesary if your shackles are already mounted pointing downwards. Then yes, you need longer shackles. You didnt specify which you needed, so I am still unsure.
