I had recently bought New replacement mirrors for my 96 bronco and well... Theyre not for a 96 bronco there for a 96 F-series pick-up now normally I would just return the wrong item sent and get the right products I need but the company wants to be *******s bout it... anyway I had taken off my old mirrors and noticed that the connectors for the power supply is completly different and well want to know if it was possible to just simply splice the wires in to the existiong connectors The 96 bronco connections have 5 prongs w/5 different color wires and the new F-series mirrors have 3 prongs w/3 different wires tell me please if it is possible to splice I dont want to lose out on a 170 dollar purchace thanks you guys

 

me personaly i would go to the company. and say "look i have done no damage and are in mint condition and i want a the mirrors for my vehicle" now garantted they are going to say bring it up with custmer serverice and you might ask were can i find them and they will probally point out the door.... at this time you either go to the manger of that specfic store or still call him and find out who is above him. you might need to go a ways up till you get to some one that is understanding.

long story short i dont think it would be a wise idea to splice 5 wires down to 3.

 

I would have to try to get my money back, for $170.00 you shouldn't have to modify your rig. Does your Bronco have the turn signals in your mirror? From what I've heard you can't get the mirrors with the turn signals in them any more. That maybe why you have two extra wires. Reproduction mirrors are always on ebay for sale for under $50.00 ea. but I don't know how many wires they have. I hope this helps.

 

I thank you guys for your help Im gonna look on ebay for the mirror glass if there not there though I'm just gonna have to disassemblr the wiring harness for the mirrors but thank you guys anyway
