86 Bronco Heater

Every since I bought my 1986 Bronco, the heater runs on high. When you try to adjust the temperature it has no affect on the temp it always runs hot unless it is turned off. I almost think the switch is broken on the inside. It's really nice during the winter, but on a spring day when I'm looking for a little cool air flow....forget it...sauna time! Any other ideas?

That's going to be a tough one. I think it's all vacuum control with air deflector doors on vacuum actuators. Good luck.

Someone suggested the possibilty of the vacuum lines being connected correctly to the core. Like I told him, the guy who had it before did a lot of stereo work and could have pulled something loose.
