Now I Know this question has been asked before concerning oil in the breather filter, and Ive done my research. Could you please tell me where I should have suction and where I should not. It is my understanding that the PCV hose should have suction and the hose that goes to the air filter should or shouldnt?????? Plus any other usefull things you might have that I missed like other hoses to check.
The air to begin the circulation comes from the air cleaner and it will draw air from the air cleaner into the valve cover, but you won't feel a lot of vacuum there...the other end of the PCV is at the base of the carb and the vacuum will pull on the pcv valve, opening it to allow the gases to be pulled back into the base of the carb...
The funny thing is that I put a new PCV valve in it like 5 months ago. I changed it today again and already I notice the difference in the breather filter suction. I'll check again in a few days to see if there is any build up. I didnt even have this strange problem until I swapped out the original after I bought it in august.
