10k mod throwing check engine light?
HI there i own a 94.5 7.3L psd 5 speed manual and i installed the 10k mod i like the power gain but when i reach a speed of about 80km and the tach at 2000rpm the check engine light comes on and the power from the mod is shut off like a switch it almost feels like the fuel is shutting down.How can i fix this problem.Also is there a way to smoth out rough idle a little mine seems excessive,please help.

I would double check your connection. If thats not just right you'll get a cel. Also have the codes pulled to see what error your getting. If you don't already, I recommend putting the 10k on a switch so it can be easily turned off. That would help with diagnosing your trouble as well as it convenient.

Sorry, cel= check engine light. To get the codes pulled you can go to a autozone or similar place and they will usually pull them for you.
All ya got to do is install a switch on either side of the resistor to open or close the circuit. I routed the wiring into the cab and mounted the switch below the steering wheel.

One side of the resistor will go to the ipr, Then the other will route to the switch. then back out of the switch and back to the other side of the ipr. (injection pressure regulator)
