strange fluid when fired up?????

chaulky pink fluid, what is it
i recently bought a 85 bronco with a 300 6, and it has been wrecked in the front, the radiator is off, when i fired it up this chaulky pink stuff came out of a small metal tube close to where the radiator should be. the guy said it was a trans cooler(its a auto) but al the books say its a a/c condensor. which is it??

If the radiator is off, don't run it long at all. Atuomatic transmission fliud is red. How long has this truck been sitting. If you have the towing package, you may have a transmission cooler also. Can you post a picture?

The radiator has trans cooler lines regardless. The auxilary trans cooler is an option or an add on depending on how you got it. Did your Bronco come with dual front shocks?
