If you are really the good samaritan then contact your governmental represenatives about truth in advertising laws and fraud. This kind of effort is the right way if you are really so concerned about the other guy.
I never said I didn't care about the deception just that at some point people need to grow up and take responsability for their decisions. Everybody wants to blame the other guy for their own ineptitude.
If a car salesman represents a vehicle as good and it isn't and you can prove they knew it wasn't you have a case.
If someone tries to sell you a blow dryer and claim that it will supercharge your car then you are a fool!

Sorry I had to.
Back on topic, I do think those leaf blower / electric fan "supercharger" devices are stupid. Anyone dumb enough to buy one should not be driving a car IMO.
