2005 Superduty
Very concerned !! I have a 2004 F150 and four 2005 F250's. Both of them have the newer version of the 5.4l The F250's have approximatly 250 miles on them and i am getting a engine knocking noise on all four of them. Now the F150 has the same noise but it is not nearly as loud. The trucks are at the dealer getting looked at. Just wondering if anybody else is having the same problems with their trucks.

Thank you. The trucks make the noise during all operating temps. It is very tough to tell if the noise appears under acceleration, due to the road noise. the F250's seem to be the noisiest between 800 and 2000 rpm's. The F150 seems to be quieter than the F250's, i guess it is due to the fact that the truck has better noise suppression(inside the cab). I dont know what to think.
