Hi everybody, this is my first post.
I have a 1998 Expedition with the service engine light on. Any shade tree ideas on what I should try first to make it happy. I have 90,000 miles on it. It doesn't show any signs as to not functioning properly. Maybe just clean the EGR valve?

Get the code from the computer by visisting you local Auto ZOne of other chain store. AZ will scan you computer for free. Maybe other stores in your area will do the same.
