From Horse lover,
Plan to buy used 1998-1999 f150. Is the 4.6L good enuf to pull a two place horse trailer from say, Kingston Ontario to Colorado. Plan on installing trans cooler and class 4 hitch. Only one horse in trailer. Would like to find manual transmission, but would take auto w/cooler. Used to own 5 Mustangs, now into different horses.

We are pleased you have chosen the best source for Fords!
if you are stuck on the f150 then I would suggest getting the 5.4 and the 4R100. If that is not an option for you then make sure it has a towing package. Personally I would suggest getting a f250-350 if you plan on towing anymore
