Upgrading Old 2 Program Superchips Tuner

I have been thinking of sending in my 1705 SCMT for upgrade to the newer 3 programs. The cost is $200 + shipping. Has anyone else had this done? I would like to know if you are pleased with the results. Any difference in power, mileage, or shifting? The newer programs are supposed increase torque and hp w/o increasing EGTs. I will be mainly using the 70hp setting for towing and daily driving. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks

I had both for a short time, the older 2 program felt much stronger and made the tranny shift alot firmer. I like the code reader in the 1705, but performance wise my truck liked the 1700 better i think..Guess i didnt have the 1700 long enough to really do any serious towing and see what it did with exhaust temps.1-2 times a year i pull a 40ft travel trailer and the rest of the time i stay hooked to my 4000 lb bass boat.So With a kwik filter and straight exhaust temps are not a problem at all for me.

MRBASS,
My tuner is the 1705 w/ code reader, but only 2 programs. Must have been the last version just before the 3 program tuners came out.
What setting are you currently running? What kind of mileage are you getting? My truck is similar to yours, but one year older.
