Smile Flash Gordan

I now have 31,000 miles on my 04 cc 6.0. I took it to the dealer last Friday at 30k miles for its 5k mile oil change, 10k fuel filter and air filter. Only problem thus far with truck was the wire harness chafe on driver side valve cover and new high pres. fuel pump at the hfcm which went at 20k miles. Only 2 problems since brand new and I really love this truck. I am not complaining one bit. However, since at 750 miles on it on rare occasions it would surge at idle stopped at a red light, the engine felt like it wanted to stall. It would get very quiet like the pilot injection was turning on ,I could barely hear the engine running. The engine would get louder as I stepped on the accelerator, Like a crackling sound. This has only happened about 12 times since I bought it March 31 of last year. I read a thread on FTE about the BPS sensor which could be bad, so I asked the dealer to check it out to see if it needed to be replaced while still under warranty. I stressed to him to the point of exaustion not to flash my truck. Well they did.... and all I can say is that it has never run this good . The flash increased my fuel economy, and got rid of that .5 second silence between 1st to second upshift. The dealership put the Ford sticker by the radiater that says it has been modified.

the mod # is 4u2a-12a650-bfd
Running change complete
The truck runs faster than it did when i bought it........

I'm speechless.

I was averaging 14.7 around the city. The same as my 7.3. I always fill up when the light comes on and it takes avg 25 gallons to fill to the top of the neck. I was getting 370 miles to one tank. My first road trip to SC this weekend I got 485 miles out of one tank or 25 gallons. That was running 80mph. I am a believer in this new flash......
