Speedometer gear tooth count?
I need to get a speedometer gear for my 82, I haven't had a close speedometer since I initally swapped out the orig. engine and SROD, the gear is cut in the opposite direction in the 435. There was a gear for 3.73's in the 435, and, it was good enough for me with the 3.55's I had in the truck, but, I took it out and put it in my 80, with the 205/75R15's on it, it's dead on with 2.75's. I recently swapped The 82 to 2wd, and put in the factory 2.75's again, and, with 31x10.50's, that gear wouldn't even be remotley close. My Ford parts guy tried to get the right gear, but, according to what he found, the NP 435 never came ahead of 2.75's. I don't need something dead on, but, something close would be fine by me, anything is better than nothing...

Great to see another Canadian on here, but, I don't have a speedometer reading to start with.... I need a tooth count so I can go buy one...
