The superlift 8" kit, all spring in the rear, is on the way. I know I need to get the front driveshaft lengthed. How about brake lines? I have 4" lift now, I just bent the brake line brackets down for some more slack. New lines for 8" or just bending/relocation?
I would say just spring for the extra hundred bucks or so and put the new lines in. I used the skyjacker lines, and they are very high quality an are perfect length. If you do this you won't have to worry about moving and bending your hard lines to where you want them. The replacement lines are also braided stainless as opposed to the factory rubber units.
I also have the stock brake lines on mine but I only have a 8" lift. All I had to do was bend the bracket down just so it would have some slack. Also, I am still running the stock front drive shaft, all you have to do is grind around the front two U joints so the angle of the shaft doesnt bind. Ive been through many of trails and to the beach quite often and havent had any problems.
The 8" kit will come with brackets to relocate your brake lines down lower. I had them on mine and they worked fine but I've changed to the SS lines that Super has on his when I lifted it more. The front shaft may fit without lengthening (I've seen it done) but you won't have very much of the splines inside the slip joint so it'll be weaker especially if you get all the weight off the front/front left you could pull it apart. You may need to grind on the CV joint to clearance it a bit. I did mine a little with 8" and a ton more now but I'm still running the stock shaft just 2" longer
