need 220v switch for air comp.
Was wanting to put a 220v switch to shut of air compressor but could not find one at HD. Will I have to put a small breaker box in and a breaker to shut the compressor off? TIA

I did this recently for my air compressor; I bought a Equipment Disconnect Switch Box (30A) from Home Depot. It has switch on face of box and uses two socketed delay fuses (I fused for 20A); I run it off of the main panel in the garage. The switch is more heavy duty than a double pole switch. The box and fuses came to less than $20.
