ford build sheet ?
i recieved my build sheet today for my 76 f250 360 4spd 2wd but i have a? here is vin f26yka52957 ford says its a 4x4??? here is thier brake down f26 f250 pickup 4x4 y 360v8 2v k kansas city plant a52957consecutive unit #. well the truck is 2wd i belive from factory as i cant see any mounts where a solid front axle would mount! any help on figureing this out would be appreciated thanks

only the 3rd owner of this truck and dont think it has been in wreck or anything everything else on build sheet is correct color ect. it also doesnt say on build sheet but it has a/c i guess it was dealer installed

F26 on the serial number means that number is from a 4X4. I would go looking for that frame number, you could have a stolen truck with a switched tag. Seen it more times than you want to know. Hawkrod
where is vin at on frame ,will check asap it is raining out now? how hard to convert to 4x4 if i wanted to??
