Oil Leak

1981 302. Oil is pooling on both sides of distributor. I was told that it was common for the early model 302. Where exactly is coming from. Is it the intake manifold or the seal around the distributor. Anyone have a similar problem in the past and discovered the remedy.

Oil Leak

The oil is most likely coming through the cork gasket at the front of the intake manifold. Cork gaskets will deteriate over time and start to leak.
