Backup Light Problems
I've got a 94 Ranger that is having backup light troubles. I just had the transmission replaced and it's running fine...however, someone told me that my backup lights where on while I was in drive. I checked it out and the backup lights stay on in all gears other than park. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Thanks

You said that the reverse light were on in drive which translates to an automatic tranny which translates to neutral saftey switch. The reverse light switch on a manual tranny is only for the reverse lights & is a very simple switch.
