I bought a 2003 Ford Sport Trac in Nov. of 2003. The wheel well on the right rear keeps getting really close to the tire. Close enough to rub where I can see the mark where it is rubbing, but it isn't bad enough where I can hear it. The dealership has already replaced this wheel well once. Any clues about what may be causing this? Thanks

That's interesting. I friend of mine noticed the same thing the other day. I have a 2002 Sport Trac 4x4 that I bought in Nov. 2004. I was thinking it was the studded winter tires I have on it, but that shouldn't be because they are the correct size. Maybe a design flaw? Does Ford have a replacement fix? I'm with you CoachRice15, does anyone know anything about this problem?

so with the sport tracs, are we finding problems with any kind of tires taller than stock.
i have the 235/70/16 tires, i now got 20 inch wheels with the same height tires, but these tires (255/45/20) are only made one company and expensive. and doesn't quite rub.
if i went with another size tire which is recommended from tire rack, would it rub? its .7 inches taller.
the recommended tire size from tirerach is a 275/45/20 which is .7 inches taller than stock. i am considering htese tires if i ever have to replace the tires. the 255/45/20 are the same exact size height as the stock tires, but only one company makes them are are 170 each tire.
