2005 FX4 Supercrew

Which color would yall reccommend for an FX4 Dark Grey or True Blue Metallics, or Silver/Black? I mainly need to know how these colors handle the swirl marks in the sun. Some colors fade quicker. Just and idea would help.

I would go with the True Blue Metallic, you can check out some pics of my new truck, its not in the sun though. But I'll have some soon.

No BLACK! I love my Black on Black but good gosh keeping it clean takes a major effort and some major bucks. Seems like I get the Driver's side dried off and by the time the Passenger side is done the Driver's side is dusty and dirty again LOL!

The Blue does look pretty sharp but then again it's a Ford F150 = Puke Green would look good!

Well OK maybe not but my next one will be WHITE !

I have been extremely happy with the silver metallic..
NO SWIRLS!!
Make sure you always hand wash your vehicle. Color doesn't make a whole lot of difference; if your repeatedly take it through a car wash, that is where the swirl marks are obtained.
My $.02

I vote for the "True Blue". I saw one yesterday and it's a great color.

I have dark shadow grey. I thought it looked better since the plastic molding is grey and I wanted it to be all one color. A little warning though. The dark grey and true blue have the same problem as the black when it comes to keeping them clean. They are dark colors and show dirt easily. Good luck - you'll love the truck.

I have a 05 True Blue SCrew, and it is really a nice looking truck. I traded in a red one and am much happier with the blue. Make sure you get the black interior, the light flint is REALLY hard to keep looking nice, the black looks really sharp!

I'm VERY glad I went w/ silver and black leather interior. I've owned black, red, grey and other color vehicles, and have to say this is the best.

I have an all black 05 FX4 Screw. True, it shows dirt a bit more than other colors, but I really liked it on the dealer's showroom - and I still like it today.

Either Black or True Blue. The metallic in the True Blue looks great in the sun. However, the best color to hide streaks and swirls is White.Good Luck!

I concur....Black is way too much upkeep unless you dont have a life or lots of money to hire someone to clean it. On top of that, I hate washing it cause every time you wash you truck, no matter how careful you are, you are putting swirl marks in the paint!
