Hello all,
I have a 1993 explorer with the V-6. On hard accelleration or hard pulls the engine pulsates like I am moving my foot up and down on the gas pedal. What can be causing this??? Would dirty infectors contribute or should I look at sensors or what?

I don't think it has a virus ........ seriously though my first suspicion would be the throttle position sensor (TPS). Have you checked and pulled any codes from the engine computer? That should be your first step.
Check the fuel pressure at the injector rail. Change the fuel filter if it has more than 30000 miles on it. Make sure the engine mounts are not broken. Remove the air intake plumbing and visually check that full throttle in the cab results in full throttle at the throttle body.
Dirty fuel injectors tend to lead to rough running at all speeds/loads. Uneven operation only under high load is quite commonly inadequate fuel supply due to blocked filters or a weak fuel pump.
