I have had my 2002 F250 7.3 Powerstroke with 46K miles on it for a little over a week. I am having problems with it if it sits for more than a day were it takes 4 or 5 attempts to get it started. I am allowing the indicator lights to go out and waiting 30 seconds to a minute between attempts.
Any insight to what could be my problem would be greatly appreciated.
How cold is it in your part of the world. Attached is a thread that I posted reguarding hard starting in the colder weather. You could still apply some of the T-Shooting aspects to your problem. Jeff in NM...OUT https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=338938
I filled up on my way home from buying truck and I am still burning that tank.
Truck was purchased from dealership and I am dropping it off tomorrow - I wanted to have an idea as to what they need to be looking at to rectify the problem - sounds like glow plugs or the relay might be the problem.
