Question cold blooded 88

This Okie says HEY everybody. It's been a long wet winter here and we are all lookin forward to spring. My wife can't wait to get the top down on her Mustang. I own a 88 F150 with a 4.9 EFI and 5 speed manual tranny. The engine is extremely hard to keep running until it reaches operating temp.Once it warms up the truck runs great.I have replaced all of the ignition components and added injector cleaner several times to no avail. Can anyone tell me what to try to solve this problem.

I would check the ignition timing. Be sure to follow the timing instructions on top of the air filter housing. That's where my timing instructions are located anyway, same year, engine and tranny as you have.
