Somewhere along the line parts of the cruise control system were removed from my 77 F-250. The switches in the steering wheel and on the brake pedal are still there. To my knowledge, all of the wiring is intact. There is what seems to be a remenent of cruise control near the carb. How can I figure out what parts are missing? There are also vacumm tubes that lead to nowhere. How reliable are these systems? I don't want to install it only to have it die a month later. I have no clue where to begin.
Do you have the servo at the manifold? You should have 2 pigtails at the firewall to operate the servo. The vacuum line would go to the servo. The OE cruise system is very reliable, both of my 79's are still functioning fine.
Hey Mil1ton, what about that mounting bracket for the 300 six cruise control. We talked about it over a year ago. The forum has not come up with an answer yet.
