Question Temperature Related Vibration

I just got my truck out of the shop for the third time for vibration and steering wheel nibble. It seemed to be fixed at first but started doing it again. Oddly enough, it seems to be temperature related. In the mornings or evenings when the current temps are below 45 deg. I don't seem to have any vibration at all. When the temp is between 50 and 60 deg, I get a slight nibble around 55-60 mph, which goes away above 65 mph or below 55 mph. When the temp is above 70 deg, I get a pretty good vibration and steering wheel nibble at any speed above 50 mph. This makes me suspect something related to tire pressure, but how could it possibly be that sensitive? This is very repeatable and does not seem to vary with the amount of driving, but only related to the outside temp! Does any one else have a similar situation? I don't really know what to do next. My truck is an 04 SCREW, 5.4, 3.73 with 17" wheels and Continental tires (second set).

98 Ford Expy steering sensitivity and vibration

I have the exact same problem. I've talked to a couple other people that seem to think it's a tire balance issue. I've had the vibration problem for a while and have just written it off as something to live with. I live in Arizona so I wasn't really contributing it to weather and heat. My latest problem however is a little more serious. My truck sat for about a month, and I noticed the power steering level was at the minimum. I put in some power steering fluid, and now the steering is super super sens itive at freeway speeds. It's sensitive to the point that I won't drive it now no the freeway. Any suggestions???

driving home from the cabin last weekend, i noticed i had a knocking sound up near the windsheild defrost on the passenger side, like right underneath the window, and it was like -30 with the windchill. But havn't heard it since.
