I'm looking at buying a bully dog 6 postion chip. The max gain in hp, they claim, is 140. They don't mention anything about torque. Has anybody here ran one of these on the dyno? I was wondering how much the torque jumed up.
Also can the rig be ran down the road at the highest setting or is it worthless? I don't want it to heat up after a 1/4 mile . I have a choice of four settings to have it built with, don't want the 140 hp if it can't be used.
You must be talking about rear wheel numbers right? I thought the 99 psd made 500 torque, but that must be at the crank. So stock they must make 400 at the tire?
My dyno sheet says 468 F/LBS and that was at the rear wheels on an OBS, but I think the dyno operator was a lil screwy. I have never been on a dyno to get another. If that helps any.
