Shackle flip on 79 model
G'day all, Ive read a few posts on this and I am considering doing this to mine to get some lift, my question is whether when the shackles are flipped will it hit on the underside of the bed? My truck has an aluminium flat tray at present but will be changed to a box if I ever find a suitable one and I don't want to flip the shackles with the tray on only to find that when I go to replace it with a box that I have to flip the shackles back. Another option is to just go with a suspension lift, what is the better option? I'd better add that my truck is actually a 1980 model but is the same as the 79s in the US, LWB 4x4 and runs a 351C on LPG and four speed. Thankyou.
