I am installing an anti-theft "Powerlock" system on my 04 F-250 6.0L.
I need to tap into a wire that is "cold in the key OFF position but HOT in both the ON and Cranking positions".
Any tech person out there that can tell me which wire is the one I need for this?
I prefer to tap into a fused circut.
they probably mean they want a wire that stay hot(12v) while cranking and in the on posistion and of course off in "off". use your voltmeter or a test light to find the one that will do that.
