Tank Vent

I am building my 78 ex-cab and have the bed off. I noticed that the fuel tank vent was broken, does anyone know where I can get a new one?

Can it be welded ? Some fillers have the vent to the front & some are to the rear, make sure you get the right one for your tank.

After thinking about it for a while I think I'm gonna just leave it plugged and get a vented gas cap...
