Ordered my Truck!
6-8wks to go. After months of research and a lot of help from this forum, I was able to negotiate a decent deal at Maxwell Ford in Austin. They are selling me a loaded F-150 Lariat Supercrew 4x4 for invoice. I know I probably could have gotten a little under that, but I didn't want to give up the low interest rate in favor of the $1000 rebate. Easiest negotiation in the world- I signed a few docs, put down a deposit and was out the door in 45 minutes + no dreaded 4 square shennanigans.

Time spent researching
I first became interested in the new F-150s about a year ago when I saw my first one in person. I started lurking here shortly after that, and then began posting about 6 months ago. Between Edmunds and this forum, you will be ready to close a deal as painlessly as I did. 6 months is a good amount of time to fully educate yourself and be completely sure of your purchase...Good luck.
