'64 custom cab(?) cowl molding

My '64 truck has this rectangular profile red-striped molding, you can see in my gallery https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...=65491&width=0 .
The cowl moulding is missing (well, a triangle-profile molding is substituted) and I am having trouble finding it. I have checked online, the catalogs that I have, and emailed a few places. One of the vendors said he believed one company was carrying repro moulding, but he didn't know who.

Thanks for your help.

Taylor, I located a NOS Ford moulding this am. It's part number C3TZ 8102328-A . Left and right are the same. THis is the moulding that goes on the side of the cowl.

Wesley Obsolete , Liberty, Ky. 1-606-787-5293

NOS Only San Jose, Ca. 1-408-227-2353

They both show one in stock. Nos's inventory is over a month old, so it may be gone. Call them up and ask. Ask for price and shipping as it doesn't list price on line.Give them the part number I listed above.
Need anything else, just post here or send me a private message by clicking on my name. Always glad to help.

Barry

I'm gonna ditch my trim - missing 3 pieces and some are beat up. Which side do you need? I might have it. May not be in good enough condition though.

Sam, I need both sides of the cowl panel trim. My truck isn't in the greatest condition, so some dings, creases, pitting, not-so-bright-finish or faded red part don't matter to me. (the red stripe in the center has been poorly touched up on mine too).

It's just that the triangle-profile replacement parts that have been substituted look really out of place to me.

Is there a very tiny piece that goes just behind the Ford 100 Emblem on the hood too? If so I am missing that as well.

I am definitely interested in yours when you are ready to pull it.
Thanks

There is a set on ebaymotors right now (item number 4525595701 ) and has a starting price of 10.00 for the pair. He also has other trim listed for the 61-64 pickups if you need any other pieces. Hope this helps. Lewis

awesome, that is what I was looking for! also, I see he has the tiny hood pieces that I thought existed as well.
Hopefully those auctions don't go too high.

I've got one (1) cowl piece - I think it was installed on the wrong side, and I know it was installed with rivets! I have both small triangle pieces (installed correctly).

I'll put a few pics in my gallery. If you want any of it, it'll cost ya the price of shipping from Iowa.

The hood trim is in great condition, the doors are ok, and the bed is kinda beat up.

I got a 64 bed awaiting my handy work...rotten floor...btw, from what I have seen, the moldings are 64 only...have never ever seen them on a 61-3 truck....
