AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake!

Anyone have this installed? Is it good?

AEM-218107 is the Part Number. A buddy just installed one on his 2004 F150 and swears by it but I want further reviews LOL!

I will say the chrome look gets my vote!

I had one installed about two weeks ago and it is great. The only problem is that last week I received a check engine light. When I had the problem addressed, the dealership said that it was letting too much air in and the mass air flow sensor was reading too lean. They suggested that I install the factory air intake again but I don't think I am. There's gotta be a different way. I just posted a thread stating this. Keep an eye on it. Other then that, it really made a big difference. I want to keep it installed.

Thanks for the info!

From what I understand just about every brand has kicked off the CHECK ENGINE light. I really like the CHROME look so the AEM and/or Airforce One gets my vote.

I installed the K&N chrome 77 series complete intake in my F-150 5.4 and I haven't had any problems with a check engine light coming on.

Hook:

Thanks for the info! That actually looks pretty sweet as well and I had no idea it existed. For the price I believe I will be following your lead with the K&N 77 Chrome Intake kit.

Thanks again for the input! That's what makes this site so awesome!
