Need axle code deciphered, also other codes
84 ford truck, 300 6cyl. , 4 speed overdrive, axle code "17", trans code "b", spring code "av". my vin is 1FTD55Y9EPA78506, can anyone decipher these. Wanting to know if the engine and transmission are original to this truck. First and second gear seem low geared, but when I shift into third it seams to just really bog down the engine, no matter how long I wait to shift, but forth is perfect for interstate cruising, but have to downshift to pass. thanks

According to the codes you provided axle is 2.47, tranny clark-4 speed O.D., the spring code I don't have.

According to the codes you provided axle is 2.47, tranny clark-4 speed O.D., the spring code I don't have.
