Hey gurus, my 93 4.0L Aero is having an intermittent stalling problem -- only when it is cold outside (here in Texas col is below 40). It starts right away but a few seconds later when I want to give it gas, it wants to stall and sometimes it actually does. Then I have to restart it and everything is OK. A few months ago I replaced the fuel filter. Before then, I replaced the plugs and the wires with OEM parts.
You might want to check out the thread I started just a little down the list - <TABLE class=tborder cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=4 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=alt1></TD><TD class=alt2></TD><TD class=alt1Active id=t337884 title="Hi guys
Has this happened...">4l Aero starts, then dies
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>It's a similar thing and I had a lot of good suggestions. For me, it was vacuum hoses that came off. Perhaps yours are just loose?
