"check engine" light question

"check engine" light question
Lately the "check engine" light on my Ford has been coming on periodically. It seems to only come on when I let off of the gas - when i accelerate again it will go off. As far as I can tell the truck is running great. Only other odd thing the engine does is that it will stall sometimes right after I start it when its cold, but even that only happens maybe once every 10 starts. Any ideas out there about the check engine light?

I agree w/ Paul. Try http://www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html for a quick primer on the code retrieval process.
From your description, it sounds like an EGR problem. Get the codes & let us know.
