Squirrel deterrent?
How do you prevent squirrels from chewing your truck wiring harness? This is the first time it's happened to me in over 35 years of owning trucks and camping. And in my own backyard.

A big hungry cat or dog tied to the bumper. Or just plain shoot any rodent that comes around the truck. On my truck they are usually content just to eat the acorns on the manifold, though my parked/stored Aerostar just lost all its hydraulic brakes. I can hear a hissing sound so I think they chewed through a rubber or steel line.

My wife figured out a fool-proof way to stop squirrels at her bird feeder..... Red-Tailed-Hawk. Last week two squirrels were feeding at the bird feeder. Then one of them fed the hawk!! The other hasn't been back since.
