I was a bodyguard for John and yoko for three nights in New York City when they came to watch their Plastic Ono band, which before that was called the Elephants Memory, perform at a benifit concert at the Anderson theater back in 74 or 75. She was a control freak with a bad attitude.
John was weird but laid back and friendly.
In short: Many blamed her for the break up of the Beatles. They were a fragile unit to
begin with but John should have left her at home more durring the recording of their last
album. I think there's some footage of them in the studio together. The rest of the boys appear visibly choked at her presence.
Let's see...She's ugly, she can't sing, she's beyond wierd, she's hairy, and not too many other people liked her either.
John was such a talented guy and could have had just about any woman he wanted, but he chose her...never could figure that one out. Maybe she's a hypnotist.
Yes, I think most everyone has covered her shortfalls. She is ugly, she is weird, she screwed up John enough to break up the Beatles. But if nothing else, have you ever heard her sing? As Grandpa on The Simpsons says, " I'd rather hear a dog puke!" That is an understatement!
It was John's association with Yoko & her being around so much in the recording studio which let to to the Speeding up, of the break-up of the Beatles.
I was one of them that thought...Cynthia was the woman that should be in John's life.
John was brilliant musician but he was scatter-brained those days with Yoko in his life.

Five-four has it.
You can see her lurking around on the set of "Let it be" (the film) and how much the other Beatles detest her. She hung around the studio thru 3 albums, The 'White" album, Let it be, and Abbey Road.
The other Beatles had all they could take of her by then. She pushed John into heroin addiction in the late 60-s early 70's , and is still miking the guy's talent for every thin dime she can.
Basically she was (is) a leech of the worst kind, who's own talent could be kept in a thimble.
But the worst thing she ever did was talk him into living in New York City. He'd still be alive now, if it hadn't been for that, maybe him and Paul could've got together for a rousing round of "When I'm sixty-four", since he'd be 64 now.
Yoko (in my not so humble opinion) is associated with the beginning of the end of the Beatles.
Their claiming to be more popular than J.C. back in 1965-6 was not too swift, either. If memory serves me. . . they were to perform at the Memphis Coliseum when John stated that.
Yeah, Yoko is/was not too popular with those that liked the Beatles.
May John R.I.P.
