I believe I heard on the news that they have conviscated porno mags and video tapes with the fingerprints of both Jacko and at least one child on them. It's really sad...this guy has got to be put away. Just like OJ though, he'll probably walk.
I watch this just as much as I watched the OJ stuff...
I'm SO tired of the UNIMPORTANCE of this - just try him like any other person (even though I too question that he is a person) and televise important news... this topic is an automatic change the channel topic
And besides... the General Discussion Forum doesn't allow any political, sexual, or religious topics --- I think this is all of the above
there autta be a law...
that's some wierd "play"...
and he scares the prayin' outta me

Who would want to shoot Michael Jackson? I mean the John Lennon thing was unfortunate and in my life time I have not seen it happen before or since Lennon. I really doubt someone wants to kill Michael Jackson. He's not as important anymore than he believes he is. It's not 1985 it's 2005 Mr. Jackson.
I agree.
We start every class period in my Govt. class talking about news events. I didn't see it, but my govt. teacher said the michael Jackson case was on the front page of the paper, while a helecopter crash in Iraq that killed like 10 Americans or something(it's sad I should know this) was on the second page. I would rather hear about something more important. And I dunno if I'm gettin' into politics here, but I value just about any soldier's life over Michael Jackson's. What good has he done for the U.S? or any country for that matter.
he's a big baby, and I think he looks like a bird.
keep whinin' Michael maybe it'll make people like you better

it is a kevlar umbrella and
I F
the fabric can withstand the impact of the bullet....
wouldn't that require the "umbrella man" to have an enormously powerfully grip and wrist at ALL TIMES to be able to hold the umbrella "straight" when hit by a projectile travelling at 1400 fps or something ????
I mean the bullet MAY not get to him... but the impact of the bullet into the umbrella would accelerate the umbrella into his head enough to do a lot of damage ---- wouldn't it ?
just my silliness coming to the surface here
sorta like that guy that hit the car behind you hard enough to propel that car into you !

yeah but then he'd have a concussion instead of a hole in his head or something like that.
all that tells me about is kevlar. do you have anything about kevlar umbrellas? i knew about kevlar perhaps i should have made myself a it clearer

I produced what you asked for.
I've seen documentaries featuring kevlar umbrellas more than 15 years ago. They run upwards of $25,000.00 so they're not that hot of an item but people that think they need them and have $$$ can get them.
You know one thing that absolutely kills me about Michael Jackson is that he is in constant denial. For example everyone on this forum has had rumors spread about them at some time in their life. Some of the were probably true and some were false but the key is that there were some that were true. Even the false ones for the most part have a little truth in him. Celebrities often find themselves in scandals or swirling with rumors but often the truth comes out and the celebrity in question often does like an interview with Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer or even Entertainment Tonight to set the record straight or in the case of primetime interviews such as 20/20's Barbara Walters admit their faults and face the rumors' ugly truth head on. So here we are with Michael Jackson who has the same stories surrounding him for the past 20 years and we all know that it's true but no matter how flat out obvious things are he always denies it and acts like the world is trying to bring him down. "These are filthy disgusting lies" that's his most famous response. I mean some of these rumors about him are true and he even knows how obvious it looks at times but he still says nothing said about him is true. The more he denies the stories and allogations the more foolish he looks.
The sad thing is that even if Michael Jackson is found guilty, which he won't, his sentence will be a joke. I truly believe the media is trying to create an O.J.-like type of frenzy surrounding this case. No one is really talking about Robert Blake so why not make Michael Jackson's case the trial of the 21st century as O.J's was to the 20th century. I also think the reason the media pushes this case more so than the casualties in Iraq more is because people want something new and nasty more often to get away from the heartbreak that is the fallen soldiers of Iraq. Michael Jackson's case is fresh news and celebrity news is always the biggest attention getter. It's sad but that's the way the world works now and days. Ratings bring revenue and that's all the networks care about.
