I have used it for many purposes, it didn't really "improve performance". I use it as a stabilizer, and carb cleaner. Seems to be one of the best products out there.
i use it for fuel injector cleaner and to clean my gas tank. i also use it in my oil works wonders now with gains i don't see any just helps clean alot of gunk out.
you have to know how to use it. Seafoam can be very beneficial, if its even needed. For carbon deposits on say pistons, it can work well by injesting straight through while revving the engine. I havent seen huge results when adding to the tank
For a carbon eliminator, water works just as good, and has for may years. I have used 2 liters of water once a year, and have no carbon build up. (Yup, those cyls are clean.)
