Yes, oneton, but if your moniker indicates your truck, then you have a one ton. The '78 '79 F150 is a different animal. If you have not seen underneath a '78 or '79 F150 4X4 or Bronco, then you have no idea what the muffler shop has to deal with.
Is there anyone on this forum who has actually looked underneath THIS SPECIFIC CHASSIS TO SEE HOW MUCH ROOM THERE IS????????????
If you have NOT, then please don't comment because you are not aware of the obstacles that must be dealt with. The muffler shops tell me that this is the toughest one to deal with.
as my name inplies i have a 1 ton 460 powered bronco witch started life as a 79 normal bronco that i converted to dana 60/70 combo with leafs from a couple f350s.Also boxing the frame in the front and making custom cross members so the insight, knowledge and the experience with this said frame and chassis is there and it is backed by creativity and an open mind .so called unsermountable obsticals can be taken care of with a little inginuity and some good old engineering knowledge. all that and i'm computer illiterate but ifin i can figure this out i'll post some pics of my setup.
ps my truck now has a c6np203 setup! the standard is 3 inces shorter giving a tighter space at the crossmember and that may make all the difference, cause when mine was a stick it was old duals under the crossmember ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I have to agree with MDdiagMan. I have a 79 F150 4x4 running a np435/205, and theres no way in hell a pipe will go along the drivers side frame rail without it being tiny, or looking like total ***. If i were to run duals, it would run along the pass. frame rail, and then after the muffler go one out each side infront of the tires. I think with the 400 im going to put together, i wont waste my money and ill just run a nicely done single, possibly with a nicer Y pipe. Backpressure really doesnt worry me as much on a torque built motor, on the stang tho, let it flow
