Well after doing a search on this and investigating somemore on my pickup, I found that the EVR solenoid is buzzing after I shut the off my pickup. By pulling the vacuum lines off of the EVR it quits, releasing all the vacuum.
If I start the pickup again and shut it off (with everything connected normal) and pull the top cap off of the EVR and plug the little spout on the top of the EVR the buzzing noise stops until I remove my finger.
The buzzing usually fades away after twenty seconds (I'm guessing the vacuum leaks out???).
Does this make any sense to anyone? I do have a Haynes manual and all the procedures need a voltmeter which I don't currently have on me right now (It's at work). I was hoping someone has experienced this before. May not even have anything to do with the check engine light, I don't know.
