On mine it is the same color as the truck. It blends in real well. You don't hardly notice it. Take a look at mine in my gallery if you want to see what it looks like.

I am going to order mine without the molding, I think it looks much nicer without it, saves money too, I hate the molding on my '00, looks tacky and dirt gets in it and won't come out and the passanger side is starting to come off. The new ones are color matched and a little thinner, they do look a tad better...
