A Ford p/u with the Lobo nameplate probably means its origin, final assembly and
as was mentioned earlier originally sold in Mexico.

I would assume because of NAFTA more Ford Lobos are being used to deliver commerce or maybe they are tourists from Mexico exploring the Texas landscape and attractions.

A sighting of a Ford Lobo is no longer rare in West and South Central Texas.

Ive seen a few runnin around here in Dallas, I figured they just bought that and stuck it on there like the fake "sport" or "4x4" stickers. Or even fake svt tags.

The F-150's are badged as LOBO's in Mexico and other parts south of the border. I saw one for sale in Costa Rico a couple of years ago. You can actually order the nameplates through US Ford dealers and they are on eBay all the time. Kind of an ethnic thing now here in Texas.
