Okay, so I was trying to recommend a good website to get discount STOCK filters, and I get an error stating I must remove all websites... WTF. Has FORDTRUCKS become so spronsor dependent that we can't even talk about non sponsor websites? What a load.

Well, SOMEONE has to pay for the expensive servers, software, bandwidth, support, etc.... don't they ?
And the post count is growing SO fast, the upgrades to the hardware have to happen faster than that or we complain
Some of us do it by becoming a club FTE member for $15.95 a YEAR, some of us do it by buying from the sponsors...
I would never, ever put a cheap filter in my truck, or anything I own. I wish people would realize you get what you pay for when it comes to filters and oil. I work in the parts dept at a John Deere dealership. I have seen so many failures caused by cheap oil, and cheap filters. I dont feel bad one bit if I spend a little more on filters. It is a investment I believe. I know myself that Wix filters and Baldwin filters are JUNK. Guys you are only hurting yourself when you buy the cheapos. I have noticed that they sell Motorcraft filters at walmart, and go to your local international truck dealer, they are even less expensive there. Only OEM stuff for me, I payed 5000 dollars for the diesel option, and I am not about to throw it away on a 10 dollar filter.

Your remarks were off-base, completely inaccurate and uncalled for. Furthermore, "WTF" isn't allowed here, got it?
When it comes to the oil filters for your 6.0L Powerstroke, the Wix, Motorcraft, Baldwin, OilGuard and all other brands are made by the same company: RACOR. They have a patent on the filter and they make all brands under private label. They are all exactly the same filter in differant packaging. Finding the best price is a good idea in this case because quality of brand is not an issue with this particular filter.
We do beat the Wix Filter1 prices by the way....
Thank You,

It a load, but its your load, not FTEs.
Sorry about that Ken. You're right, it was my load. Trying to post while having a bad day isn't a good idea! I was venting, and whining.
