Superchips 2 program micro tuner

2 questions about this tuner. We used it on my father's 97 f250 4x4 PSD (Auto) and I am wondering how much the horsepower increases are with this tuner. I read the entire manual on the tuner, and it never refers to the increases. Isn't it somewhere around 60 hp for the tow safe and 80 for the non tow safe mode (hi-output mode)?

Last question, the hi-output mode says if we are going to tow a trailer over 4,000 lbs, that this one can not be used without some modifications. What are the modifications? The truck has a 3 inch bully dog down pipe and the catalytic converter has been completely removed. Other then that, nothing else has been modified that will affect the exhaust temps. The truck's heaviest trailer is our boat (23.5 foot) weighs around 4,000 lbs.

With your last question, I'd say your got one of the most important "mod" to run the hi level. The 4" exhaust will keep the egt's down alot. But its still HIGHLY recommended to at least get a pyro gauge before doing so so you can keep a eye on the temps.
