Midwest Meeting
Some time ago I suggested holding a Midwest meeting in the General Chapter forum.
Since then, I have contacted the Chapter Leaders from the neighboring states.
There has been some discussion between the Illinois Chapter the Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Missouri Chapters for setting up a Midwest Meeting.
The meeting with Indiana would be at U.S. 41 Drag Strip, no date selected yet.
Iowa/Missouri Chapters meeting in either City Park in Keokuk Iowa or Cordova Drag Strip in Illinois. No date selected yet.
Wisconsin meeting at Union Grove Drag Strip. I suggested Ford Days on Sunday August the 21st.
Any suggestions? Thoughts? Ideas? Let's hear em'.

Is Sunday June the 26th okay to meet the Indiana Chapter at U.S. 41?
Kids ages 7 - 12 entry is $5.00 adults is $ 10.00 gates open at 8:00 a.m.
We need to settle this quickly as summer is getting closer and time is getting filled up with meetings, etc.

Meeting
I had heard "Papa Norm" owner of U.S. 41 has passed away from a massive heart attack. I asked the Indiana Guys IF this is true. This would cause us to re-loacte the Illinois-Indiana meeting IF He did pass and the family does not

Hello, just checking up on this, the Iowa meet in Keokuk, 3rd weekend of July, wondering how many we should possibly expect from the east side of the river. It's too far out to lock down the numbers, just looking for general interest.

So is this still on the slate? Haven't heard much for quite a while. I'm looking for input as to the best time for everyone, so please speak up! It is on the schedule as this Saturday, in Keokuk, at Rand Park.
