hi all ,
just here to make an announcement more or less but i went to a guy that lives near here that i know of but not too well and he gave me a cab/sunvisor that i was told would fit my 86 f-150 , and not noticing a problem i agreed to take it and 1nce i gpt it home i realized it would not even come close to fitting unless i did some really handy work and even then it wouldnt look right so i called him back and asked whut it was off of and he sais a ful size van of some sort ,and from there i contacted a lund cust. service rep with all these numbers and got a reply from her and i was informed that this visor was made to fit a mack truck b-series that mack stopped making in 1966 now i would like to have an old mack as a daily driver but my f-150 is far from a mack truck that is for sure this guy really thought he had me fooled on this visor oh well

85 ranger 2wd auto 2.8 v6 150,000 miles and still going

If I had a dollar for everytime I did something dumb......I probably would own Ford....not just one of their trucks. LOL It happens bud. We all learn from our mistakes....and from those of others kind enough to warn us along the way. As someone once said:

well ron you are damn right on that but i was rolling on the floor laughing when i chked my e-mail and recieved an e-mail from the lund cust rep saying it was for a MACK TRUCK

I've got a 61 B61... If I ever restore it, I'll have to keep that in mind, a truck just isn't a truck without a sunvisor... LOL
