I'm doing a similar thing right now. Things to be wary of are....
1) The f250 spindles are longer, but inner axles are different so you'll have change them at the uni. That's assuming you're using D44 F250 parts, otherwise you might be in strife.
2) You'll have to change the brake master cylinder.
3) The original F250 hub seals (with a locating flange) are listed as 'no longer available' parts -in Australia anyway.
4) 15 inch rims won't fit over the big calipers.
5) Longer spindles will make your track about 1/2 inch wider each side. With wide tyres you may need to look at beefing up the steering damper. I haven't got that far yet.
6) Rear tailshaft will need to be shortened about 3 inches.
Consider the brake conversion in the Tech articles by Danny Cabral. According to him, you actually get a BIGGER overall piston with the T-Bird caliper over the F-250 ones...
Amen Brother
I added the f250 booster and master cylinder, tbird calipers, and 1 ton real wheel cylinders. The brakes are fantastic. They weren't anywhere near this good when the truck was brand new!!!
