Window Tint

I live in NC where the legal tint limit is 35% for the front windows. i was wondering is it worth it to get the 35 percent because i know it is not that dark. my back windows on my '04 black XLT explorer are factory and pretty dark but the fronts are basically clear. does anyone have any pics with 35% tint or any advice on how to make my explorer look nice. thanks guys

I have an 04XLT black live in NC had the windows tinted 35% on the fronts it helps out alot and you can see a difference. Also had the backs done at 5% it looks real nice I also had it done so the sun is not so bright on the kids. It also help keep it a little cooler in the summer. Hope this helps you out.

My 91 Explorer is black. My windows are 20% on the front two and 5% on the back 7. The legal limit here in MO is 35%. I havn't had any troubles. And I wish I would have gotten darker on the front. The two shades of tint kind of bugs me.
I can stay cool with the blower on halfway during summer. Helps keep the heat out bigtime!

I think 20% all around is the best not too light or dark. You go any lower and you will not see out your windows in the day. In Nebraska legal is 20% in the rear and 30% in the front but I had 20% all away around with no problems with jonny law.
