Im going to have to order the truck, so I can't see the colors in person, but if you have one the the colors in the FX4 truck, it would really help me if you could show me which one looks better, or keeps swirl marks out when the sun hits the paint.... thanks

 

I have a dark grey metallic f150, it looks great most of the time in the sun. But it can show some swirl marks, but I think they al do that

 

i got a supercab fx4 dark grey also.i think it looks good even its dirty...

 

Silver was my first choice, after owning a black mustang I just couldn't do it again. But I do think that black trucks are by far the best looking for those who can manage to keep them clean.

 

I really like the blue on my FX4. I think its True Blue Metallic. You can check it out in my gallery.

 

you can go to the dealer and look at all the colors. but im guessing white whill show the least amount of swirls.

Not sure if it comes on an '05 FX4, but my '04 XLT is Arizona Beige. The same color as road dirt, only shiny! I like it alot. I too, coulda been a contenda.

 

I'd go with the blue as well. I love black - my '99 was black, looks great but hard to keep clean, as you know. When I ordered my '05, I wanted a dark color, but something that would hopefully be a little more forgiving than black.

I like the true blue metallic, but I wanted the features of a Lariat, and it's not a color option on that trim level. I went with the Stone - looks like a grey/copper/brown - I like it. If I was ordering the FX4 I would have went with the blue.

 

Be careful when chosing your dark shadow grey color. The 04 grey trucks and the 05 greys are different paints. The 05's have a darker grey. I don't think they even call it Dark Shadow Grey anymore.

None the less go with the GREY

First it is a great looking metallic.
Second, not veryone and their dog has this color.
Third, its the color I chose .

Also, I HATE GREY OR BLACK INTERIORS. Every freakin car this century has a plethora of cheap plastic grey or black interior. The last 3 cars/trucks I have had, have had grey or black and it rubs me the wrong way. (Ok, Ok, I do like Fx4's interior but I still prefer the tan/cream interior, it looks nicer in my opinion)

 

I have the Dark Stone Metallic on my STX its great looking, second choice was the dark Shadow Grey Metallic.

 

Oxford white!

 

White is the way to go.
